As this year is drawing a close I can find myself seeking the darker hours of the day to rest and dream, lighting candles and burning incense; I’ve written about how I’m approaching the fading sunlight this year and truly I can feel myself craving the coming hibernating period.
Another part of these early evenings is about reflecting on the things that came up this year, the things I’ve learned, the patterns I can see in them, what I need to let go off and what I want to keep.
But most importantly to recognise who I am right now in this moment, to do an audit of the person I am today, to update that story: my personal narrative.
