Arthouse films that I recently watched and what I thought while watching them
The Muse Letter No. 51
For a while I thought films are dead. Not actually dead in a general sense but for me. The idea of committing to a film that would last 90 to 180 minutes seemed as dreadful as doing homework on a hot summer day while everyone is out having fun at the local pool. Then my Netflix subscription expired and I didn’t renew it.
Not actually intending to be a statement more a lack of funds, a certain lethargy of having at that point watched “everything” and going into hibernation in December, I somehow fell out of it, like forgetting to answer someone on tinder: I did not even notice it.
