Things I Have Loved This Week #13
where I’m melancholic for the future that already feels like the past
¡Hola, fellow muses!
The second week of my artist residency in the mountains of Oaxaca is coming to an end, I can’t believe it’s only one more week of weaving, writing, reading here and then it’s over.
I’m melancholic for the future that already feels like the past.
There are so many things I have loved this week that I am excited to share with you below but first I also want to announce that: my new podcast THINGS CHANGE is finally OUT!
The first episode features the hilarious Will McPhail, who – if you don’t know him – is frequently published in the New Yorker with his cartoons and who also wrote a really beautiful graphic novel called IN.
We talked about a lot of things like: whether men dress for other men or how to make art and enjoy the process of it. Why being vulnerable is hard but you should do it anyway and how to become the artist that you want to be.
It’s available anywhere you get your podcasts from.
But here’s the link for Spotify and Apple Podcast.
If you’re new here – this – is a weekly account of things I have loved with recommendations, personal insights and general life advice – it’s the secret muse club house – for the lovely people who hold up The Muse Letter and support my writing.
Thanks so much for being here!
