A list of things that I love this summer

summerdays (an unbearable need to be outside for any moment during the day)
bonfires (staring into flames, knees touching, drinks spilling, joyful bursts of laughter)
strawberries and vanilla ice cream (melting into pink sauce, licking juice from fingers)
camping (waking up with the sunrise, soft rain knocking on the tent roof)
hammock (intending to read a book but instead listening to the birds, the neighbors, the ocean in the trees, while rocking softly side to side)
beach pyjamas from the 30ies (see photo above, the colours, the joy, the expanding trousers, the nostalgia)
